The word BoMa derives from the names of the owners: Bombetta and Madalena. Having roots in Riomaggiore they have returned after living a number of years in New York. Not only… “Il BoMa” is also a nautical term: it is a spar upon which the lower side of a sail is bent. It is fundamental for the boat to maintain sail.
