The past few days have been a whirlwind of news and misinformation that we want to clarify for all of you.
A few days ago an Italian newspaper published an aritcle featuring an interview with the current President of the 5 Terre National Park stating that he will be introducing a cap limit on the number of visitors to the Cinque Terre and that they will need to reserve a ticket in order to access the towns.
We want to first of all reassure that this is NOT happening!
Three days after the news appeared in “La Repubblica” and caught the attention of international newspapers, the President of the National Park of Cinque Terre, retracted the announcement, confirming that this was just an option in order to regulate the ever increasing number of tourists visiting our area but nothing has been set in stone or decided. An action of this kind will require an extensive logistics operation that will take time and effort, but most of all aprroval by all the authorities of the territory
THERE WILL BE NO CAP LIMIT FOR VISITORS OF CINQUE TERRE IN 2016!
We want to reassure you and keep you informed on what is happening in Cinque Terre. We are here to answer any questions you might have.
